COMPANY HISTORY

 

Professional Power Systems was started in 2004 and is solely owned and operated by Glenn Walls, P.E. He recieved his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Old Dominion University. Glenn Walls has over 35 years experience in the electrical industry including commercial and industrial electrical distribution design, power system analysis and electrical construction. He currently specializes in the computer modeling of electrical distribution systems in the areas of short circuit, overcurrent coordination and arc flash hazard analysis. He has been performing arc flash hazard studies since the NFPA 70E and IEEE 1584 standards were issued. He consistently manages projects that are technically accurate, on time and within budget. In addition, he routinely prepares and presents short seminars on arc flash hazard analysis.
